A collection of live recordings initially intended as a bonus for a special edition version of Blood Rhythms' 2015 LP "Assembly" that never happened, these are reissued recordings from a scarce tape in 2009, remastered by Zach Adams.
Live group performances around this time featured Daniel Burke (Illusion of Safety), Michael Krause (Death Factory), Michael Kendrick (Rope), Travis (ONO), and several other appearances from friends and respected stalwarts. There is a gradual evolution evident here, where the first show (April Fool's Day, 2007) started with as many blaring horns as could be mustered, and from there, group outings gradually morphed into a sort of krautrock / industrial / scrap metal / synth damage ensemble.
All recordings here were captured direct from the soundboard (before post production/meddling), except for Ronny's, and Elastic Arts, which was mixed down from a room recording and a direct soundboard recording.

Primal, warped, cave-jazz sounds recorded (direct to tape) at an abandoned military base in Russia. They describe their work as "ritualistic gnome noise", among other things. Yr new favorite obscurity NO PART OF IT
Epic solo project by member of Yakuza, Corrections House, Bloodiest, Circle of Animals, Brain Tentacles, and more. Highly concentrated with different approaches to melodic and experimental music. NO PART OF IT
Tuluum Shimmering is a favorite U.K. one-man-band/psych artist from way back, but he also featured a mysterious, laconic reel that was recorded in 1972. Great lo-fi trance-inducing kosmische. NO PART OF IT
I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
Rather than describe what this sounds like (a futile task), I will describe how it makes me feel. First it is much like white noise, blocking the world around me. It's just me and whatever I happen to be giving my attention to with no distractions or external worries. Then it is energizing and uplifting. I have more focus and energy. These soundscapes get me in the zone to help me concentrate on whatever I'm doing, whether it be washing dishes or scrolling Facebook. And it sounds damn cool too. dharmalogos
